This was started back when the Kiara contest was on... I'm not a Kiara fan, but I always liked that aspect of her as a cub. She was doubtful about her life, future, and where she REALLY fit in. I think we all feel like that at one point or another.

Mhinna being greeted by Sasha's Kaine.

Sasha suggested they should meet. So my thoughts were: how? Well, Mhinna and Nuarra don't belong to a pride, so they probably cross territories a lot. Well what happens when Mhinna wanders on her own? Well she gets a (semi?) royal welcoming of sorts! hehe.

I started going through TLK with the intent to create an image for every section/scene or directly before/after it. Additionally, if a lion was involved I had to base it on a pic of one of my own kitties.

When I first put Mhinna up, I joked with 'Fika about how her and her "Uncle" Schariou would get into all kinds of mischief. Well I never really explored that and got in the mood of drawing Mhinna! So This is what came out.

It even features the first look at adolescent!Mhinna. *Gasp* Meh baby girl's growing up. ;.;

Next up, draw the wonderful Sasha something! Because I haven't given my lovely friend enough attention lately!

So I sat down and thought: lets take run-of-the-mill colored pencils and draw something without drawing a base sketch!

And out came Nalana...in the ocean. I blame "Born Free," a movie based on the first of three books I read as a kid. And I used photo ref from.

While you can't really tell in this pic, it also features Nal's new look. I'll explain it when I get a digital version up.

This an utterly random surprise sketch for Astrocat. Because she is awesome. and her characters are addictive.

This is an impromptu pic of her Haoxian. The one near the bottom is a similar style female I created at random for the pic. Her 'decal' is supposed to be of a phoenix but... I stink x.x

Astro can keep her if she wants. or maybe I will. I dunno! Maybe she'll just exist in this pic.

okie story behind this. my friend got me a lion plushie as a birthday gift. And I had been thinking I wanted a Schariou plushie for quite a while. SO out of boredom, and several failed attempts of other meathods... I decided to..paint...it... >.o

When I was first introduced to the huge fandom base for TLK was through one of the old Chats/RPs. one of the people there then was a loverly cheetah with a split tail, Timba! Known now here as C'gasah.

Looking up at the sky, the cub was lost in his own thoughts. A gentle nudge tore him back to reality.

"Turrow?" he questioned, remembering his best friend that sat behind him.

"You're...not going to leave me. ...Are you?" Turrow spoke in less than a whisper, afraid of the answer.

Two new charris (like I need more!)drawn at work (break!) hence no prisma work. Turrow is the one on the right. Other unnamed. Suggestions?

A friend suggested to celebrate I do something with wood, the traditional 5 yr gift. And so this came to mind.

Years later Simba approahes the tree that changed his life. While not the same, this archive has chanaged mine just as significantly. Thank you. Here's to five more.

Okay so this is tech. a character of mine, but I'll explain.

A few days ago I got one of Faith's (nickname I gave to the actor "faith" was named after/slightly inspired by)movies that I've wanted for a VERY long time. So I was inspired to do a familiy friendly nudge to the film.

If someone can guess what it be, they get virtual cookie! need a hint? name of cover he did in the film.

I had more realistic fire at first, but it felt out of place.

This started out as me trying o ut a new rock technique, and it ended up being an image I've had in my head for a while.

The place is the 'cave of the gods', a deep cavern in the mountains bordering Acratia that Nalana found early on. It's where she can communicate with the other gods, however, this first introduction to the messangers (one directlin in like being Lotica) is a little unnerving.
