This scene passes by so quickly, you can't see Simba or shenzi very well until it's over. So, here it is for you; one of my favorite parts.
I think Disney should've kept those scratch marks on Shenzi's face. Unless she has some sort of healing ability we don't know about...

An entry for the current contest.
EDIT: Because of artists telling me this goes against the theme, I wanted to give a different scenario. This is kind of an indirect "bonding" picture. I think carrying out Scar's orders was Shenzi's way of bonding with Scar. She depends on him for food.

Norman: "That was great, Simba! I was really scared back there, really. Great work! Okay, you take it easy right now. Boy! It's hot down here! Anyway, in this next take, the director's gonna have you run in front of the herd and I'll be just in front of you. Then you're gonna jump over me and climb up the dead tree. Okay?"
Simba: "No problem!"
Norman: "I love this kid!"

For the current contest. I think they needed to get somebody to shoot those low profile scenes in the gorge. And they gave him a cameo! :D

Nala was angry with Simba. "Why can't he just tell me what's wrong?" After thinking about it for a while, she went out onto the plain to look for him. But the prince was no where in sight! A little worried at first, Nala then gathered her thoughts and decided that Simba must've gone back to his friends Timon and Pumbaa.
Later...
Timon: "I thought he was with you!"
Nala: "He was but now I can't find him."
This is for Cat B.'s character month contest. It's adult Nala. I drew her w/out ref in kind of a maquenda-ish style for some reason. So I think this'll be a surprise for maq! :D

I finally solved the mystery of Nala's father!
There was no father. She was concieved by midichlorians and is the chosen one in the pride to bring the prince, Simba, home and bring balance to the Pridelands!
LOL Sorry. Couldn't help myself.
Anyway, the guy behind her is Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn from Episode 1 of the Star Wars series. Midichlorians are what helps a Jedi use the Force.
If you need more info, watch the movie. And if you're a SW fan. Sorry about the spoof. ;D

It's finally finished! No refrence used at all!!! :D
My special thanks goes to Killress. This is kind of a collab between me and her. She straightened out Nala's face and helped me fix the legs. This pic wouldn't be this good without her help. Thank you, Killress! *hugs*
