A new character adopted from Hannah Outsider. A lioness with a pretty head of hair. I decided to name her Melodie. I tweaked her look a bit to go along with my style but I kept her original colors (cept for the color of the collar, hope that's okay). Anyhoo, I like this new char and I got some big plans for her! ^_^ Many thanks, Hannah Outsider!

Don't think that I've forgotten about my favorite phantom! It's my Erik-lion on one of those pegasus statues on the roof of the opera in the movie verson. I gave him a cape and a cool hat too! ^_^ Eventually I'm gonna color this, but I like how the outline looks too.

Just a weird idea that popped up in my head. It's Duncan flirtin with my newest character. She looks as though she doesn't know quite what to make of him, or doesn't understand what he's doing. I think I'm gonna group some of my less seen characters together, like Damien, Duncan, and no-name here, who I've decided to keep and name Kali. It's a Hindi name meaning "energy; dark goddess".

I've been meaning to finish this pic for a lo-ong time, and now I finnaly did!! ^^ This char was designed for me my MoonChild (now known as BlueJay ^^). It took me a while to find a name, but I found the perfect one: Duncan. It means "brown warrior", though he looks more like a right ol' trouble maker than a warrior, doesn't he? Thanx again BlueJay for the great design!

I was looking through my older stuff and I came across my Mosi and Zazu pic. It looked pretty "ech" to me, so I decided to redo it. Zazu's giving Mosi a piece of his mind, and Mosi looks like she's about to eat him if he doesn't shut up. X )

Here's the result of a funny idea that popped in my head. Well, not funny for my poor Erik Lion. I was curious how I would draw his disfigured side. So I drew his reaction to Christine pulling off his mask(grr..stupid girl). I couldn't fit the qoute from the book (above) so I put "Damn You!" in the background

Zuhura, the pride's cold and harsh Chief Huntress. Her scars and blind right eye don't stop her from hunting with deadly perfection. She's got a face that could make a rhino turn tail and run. She's also Aziza's mother (crazy, eh?). I'm not too satisfied with this. I don't think I made her quite as mean and ugly as I wanted her.

This guy's a pretty minor char, but I still drew him. This is Steele and he's as cold as his name. He's got the same job as Zazu, mostly reporting positions of herds and alerting of any intruders. He's a Northern Shrike.

Elara

Man, from extreme happiness to extreme despair. After a little fight with Kamau, Elara runs away, and that's when the trouble begins. Demona takes advantage of the break in their bond and begins to poison Elara's mind. This it at the point where Elara realizes what Demona's trying to do but can't break away. Here's SnowStar (named by bluejay), a pretty snow leopard that has no final eye color and no name. She needs to go to someone with alot of patience for her design, but I don't mind if you changed her a bit! She's sweet and loving, and did I mention house trained?

If Aziza is Estella from Great Expectations, then Mandisa (means "sweet") is Biddy. She's the daughter of the king and queen of the Jabali Pride and best freinds with Keon and Dak. She often tries to talk reason into them, but usually ends up ignored. She's got a wise and noble head on her little shoulders.

The one book I ever disliked reading was Great Expectations, but I have to admit that the character Estella inpsired Aziza, Keon's and Dak's beautiful but heartless heart-throb. I don't need to say much about her cuz I thought Creed's song "Beautiful" describes her perfectly. Yes, she has the same name as one of Mya's sisters, but certainly not the same personality.

And this grumpy fellow is Kegan. Being the second oldest cub in the pride, he's often left to babysit the younger cubs. He's never to thrilled about it, especialy when Keon and "Dak" are involved, and spends most of his time telling them to bother someone else. But don't let his grumpy nature fool you. Inside he has a heart of gold.

And here's Dakarai, usually called "Dak". His name means hapiness which really fits his personality. He and Keon are best buds, practically like brothers. He's a tad older than Keon and bulkier too. He's a mischivous but lovable guy, even if he's not exactly the brightest bulb on the tree.

Why haven't I uploaded this? *slaps forehead* My first attempt at coloring on photoshop. A scene in my story after Kamau's failed fight with the invadeing lions. Left only with new scars and a broken leg (as well as a broken heart), Kamau leaves his home in the heat of the dry season as the invaders proceed to kill his son and take over his pride.

This is Keon, one of the three central chars of the Kimwondo Chronicles. He's a rather happy-go-lucky cub who has difficulty, even as an adult, at takeing anything, especially responsibilty, seriously. Just give him sunshine and room to run and he's a content little guy.

Elara's becoming my favorite character to draw. This started as a random sketch of boredom, but I really like what I did with her. She's probablly working her charm to get Kamau to lighten up and catch butterflies with her. : )
