This is Leo, and the giant yellow cub whom I believe beeing his son is the laughing guy from "The shooting star".
The other cub is Sabini.

- And there was plenty, plenty of hyenas everywhere ! But I didn't feared, and neither did Simba. And there was also this beautiful, beautiful girl named Nala, and...

Malka returning in his pride after "Simba's New Brother", describing her little sister Macheo his adventures, while Malka's mother, Maji, tells her mate Kimoni that their son was anywhere else than in Sarabi's pride (Kimoni's sister) and that the Simba Malka keeps talking about is his own cousin.

Just ignore the lionnesses in the BG.
I also changed Kimoni's nose, now he looks more like Mufasa.
And BTW, that's my first Malka =D

Tama's family =)
Do you reconize them ? Aiko, the mother, is from my invention, but the father, named Asali (means "honey"), is one of the 3 unknown lions seen in the comic "Simba wants to play".
And Tama's little sister is Digger ! (I named her Bora, which means "excellent").
Yeah, I'm stupid, I always tought Digger had a little hair tuff like Vitani. I noticed my mistake only yesterday >.<

Tojo : "Tai ? I've heard my mother prononce this name sometimes..."

A nex idea is born in my twisted mind : Nala and Tojo ARE half-brother and sister ! They have the same father, Tai, and different mothers, Sarafina and Cassandra (working name for Tojo's mum).

PS: I put Nala her adult's colors cause they are pre-teen in this pic...

PPS : Did you noticed ? Did you noticed ? Each time there's a scene talking about Tai or his relatives, it's under a purple sky ;)

Zira turned around Scar as a vulture over his prey.
- Forget about Shiiru, she whispered. She never loved you. If she did, how could she left you at the moment when you more needed her ? I was always near from you.
The king cleared his throat and moved one step back while saying :
- Listen, Zira, I... I don't want a queen.
- Say rather that you do not want me ! But you've no choice, Scar. You're mine, you've always been mine.
- Stay away from me ! How dare you... I am perfectly free to not marry you. I do not see how you could press me.
- You only need to know that... I know your little secret...

Slowly, Scar closed his eyes. He had the impression to be an insect struggling in a spider web. Zira's perfect plot had shut on him.

Nala : Are you my dad ?

Ahaha seems that everybody fight to tell THEIR theorie about Nala's dad. But what about the main concerned ?
Since her mother doesn't want to tell her, Nala had decided to ask by herself XD

Are the children too innoncents or have the adults too much imagination ? ;) (see Scar and Sarafina's faces hehe)

Sarafina : But what I am... What are we going to do without you ? You've a girl now, it's time to take your responsabilities !

Tai : You've a pride to take care of you and Nala. Mufasa has always be nice with you.

Sarafina : But why can't you stay in Prideland ? This is your home too. I tought that you loved me !

Tai : I love you but... This is not my home. I've no home. But don't cry, I'll come back, I promise...

Finally, I think I'll put this for the contest : my little "Demain, dès l'aube" comic (from Victor Hugo) translated in English.
Even if it's not a pictural point of view, it represent Scar's inner feelings after his brother's death.

A little black and white comic illustrating "Demain, dès l'aube", my favorite poem from Victor Hugo.

For your culture, Victor Hugo is one of the most famous french writers. He wrote a lot of poems and novels like "Les Misérables" or "Notre-Dame de Paris", which inspired "The hunchback of Notre-Dame" from Walt Disney.

I'll translate soon this comic, if I can find a good translation, but nothing can equal the beauty of the original text. =)

Yes, I'm in a bad mood, and disapointed. I hoped for one time my pic to be in the top ten of the Contest. But it seems that it's always the same who win. Please, don't take it badly, I know these artists are far better than me and worked a very long time before becoming popular. But I feel discouraged...

After Simba's birth, all his uncles and awties who couldn't (or didn't wanted) be at his presentation came to see their royal nevew (I know Simba is not seen in this pic, but it's supposed to be Sarabi's point of view)

For left to right :
Maji, Kimoni's mate, seen in "Simba's new brother (she's Malka's mother)
Kimoni, Sarabi's brother, father of Malka (and later Macheo, Adabu and Ndevu)
Safari, Sarabi's sister
Shiiru, Scar's mate
And finally, the dearest Uncle Scar ^^

Shiiru : You have changed so much... You're not the Scar I use to know.

Scar : No, I'm not. Are you satisfied ?

After Amir's death, Scar became more and more sad, angry and jealous of his brother, above all after the birth of Simba. And it affected Shiiru who couldn't help him, because he refused to confide in her.
