Chumvi : "Allright, allright, I'm leaving again ! Anyway, who would like to stay here of his own free will?"

Chumvi had already been exiled away from Priderock at his teenage, but he kept coming back, annoying a lot Scar.
That's how I see adult Chumvi : being bad influenced by Scar's exemple, and angry of not being loved by Nala.

Woaw, guys, it's not only my first Chumvi but also my first serious BG totally done by myself ! The ground, the rock, the sky, everything ! =D

Scar : Be strong, Sarafina. Your son is now big enough to leave his pride and live by himself.

Mheetu : Don't cry, Mum. I'll find Nala and I'll come back, I promise. looking at Scar I'll come back and fight for this land had a better king.

Scar : Oh, is it like this that you thank me for all I've done for you since your birth ? Growing cubs are so thankless...

She wanted Scar exiling Mheetu with a crying Sarafina in the BG.
Okay, Saffy is not really in the BG, and i couldn't help adding a little crying Nuka, but I hope it will please her however =)

When Scar returned to PrideRock with the cub Kovu, everything has become worse. [...] Even lionesses made war between them, between Scar's and Zira's followers and ex-queen Sarabi's followers. Scar's return temper a few things, but rebellius was already active. As the king try to impose his autority to the lionesses who complained about the lack of food, he heard a male voice opposing o him. He turned back and saw Mheetu. He had changed since the last time he saw him, now he was like a young cock which tries to made its spurs on the old male.

- Well, well what have we got here ? Growing mane ? It's seems that the little cub want to play with the big boys now ? Hummm, isn't it time to say goodye to mommy, mister Mheetu ?

A request from another school friend : she wanted Simba and Nala fighting in the jungle, at one moment when Nala takes the advantage, but not a posture seen in the movie. OMG !
I finally used a fighting pose as a model, but not from Simba and Nala's fight. A cookie for those who will gess at which moment we see this pose in the movie (but not with the same characters).
I hope it will please her. I'm proud of it because it's the first time I draw fighting lions, but the light is a failure at some places...

The rain still fell when the king went into the cave. He smiled by seeing the newborn cub in his mother's side.
-Congratulations, Sarafina, he said. How is she called ?
A tense silence answered and he frowned. Something wasn't right.
-It is a boy! shouted Zira.
The king roars angrily and approached the terrified mother.
-Please, Scar, let me explain...
-You all desobeided me! I ordered you to kill the newborn child if it was a boy!
-Please, moaned Sarafina, let live my little Mheetu.
Without listening, Scar seizes the terrified cub and took him apart. But while he was going to kill him, a shade thread it's way between his legs and threw itself on Mheetu. Scar was surprised recognizing the little Nala.
-Let my little brother live!

For the contest ! It's Sarabi's point of view :

The day before Simba's return...

Sarabi opened slowly her eyes, awaken by a moonbeam. She was going to fall asleep again when she saw in front of her an unexpecting picture : the King was sleeping, quieter than he had ever been since Mufasa's death, with his three cubs. She smiled at this unusual scene of love, noticing that the moonbeam was on Kovu, the new heir, and in spite of a touch of jealousy crossing her spirit by remembering her own happy times with her little Simba, she felt asleep in peace. Maybe finally everything was going to be allright...

Tomorrow afternoon...

Kovu : Dad ! I'm hungry !
Scar : There is no food... What are the lionesses doing ? SARABI !!!

Scar : You see, Kovu, the Great Kings of the Past are watching us from those stars. My mother is there. My brother too. Your... your mother too. And one day, when you'll be king...Heeerr... Kovu ? What are you doing ?

Kovu (pushing his paw in Scar's eye) : Gaaaa ! 8D

Scar (smiling) : Well, maybe you're still too young for that...

Uff this one gave me so much problems X(
I know, the light is a little bit strange... Whatever.

I'm not sure if I like this...

Anyway, it's not showed in the movie, but I think Simba would have felt very bad, and maybe sader than angry, when he heard that his loving uncle was the one who murder his father.

...Both tangled lions slid for a long time before Scar, that the intervention of Shiiru had rebalanced, succeeds in catching a dead tree's branch on the cliff. With the other paw, he blocked Shiiru's arm.
-Shiiru! shouted Scar recognizing her. What have you done ?
He was interrupted by a sinister crackle.
-We are too heavy ! shouted Shiiru, at once to cover the thunderstorm's noise and because she was frantic. You have to leave me down!
-No ! Don't move, we are going to take out there !
But they won't. And both knew it.
-Scar... I... I've never stop loving you, in spite of all...
-Me too... But don't leave me, Scar said with a trembling voice. Not know. Please...
-Remember... At the end, there is no vengeance... Remember... Goodbye.

From the day we arrive on the planet

There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

Shiiru had left her land since a long time. But she could'nt forget Prideland's traditions. So she sang, for her first-born son Kovu, the song of the new-born lion, the song she heard at Simba's presentation. Because Prideland's tradition were part of her now, and because she hoped in the very bottom of her heart, than one day Kovu will see his true homeland.

This is Kovu and his mother Shiiru, in the jungle, where he is born.
I hope it will suit for the contest, even if there are only two character, but I wanted to make it an intimate scene.

For hours, Scar roamed on the river's edge. He had stopped running, because his painful legs could hardly support him, but he refused to stop and rest. He had stopped calling, because his throat was completely dry, but he refused to stop and drink. He would have been able to continue until he falls in catalepsy, but it was not useful.
Because he had just perceived a lied body which water had pushed away on the bank.
Scar found suddenly a renewal of energy and rushed to his beloved.
- Shiiru, he called up slowly in a hoarse voice. Shiiru...
But no answer were gived back.
- Shiiru... he whispered. Why ? Why have you done that ? I would have had to die. It was my punishment. It is my fault... You died by...my...fault... Shiiru... My love

Suffering from a neglecting father and an unloving mother, little Nuka has finally found someone to listen to his childishes stories. =)

Because before the separation, the two clans were one, even during Scar's reign.

NdA: Wooo guys it's the first time I draw Nala, and I'm quite satisfied with the result =D (when I will draw Simba, I will opening champain !!! XD)

A new cub in Prideland !

Everybody was suprised when they saw king Scar return after months of absence with this strange and unknown cub.

Nuka : It's my new brother ! It's my knew brother !!

It's strange to think that these 5 cubs are all related by Kovu, who is Nuka and Vitani's half-brother, Siri and Athari's cousin, and Mheetu's cousin-in-law (uuh... I don't know if the expression is correct o__0)

I just LOVE this pic =DDD
I think Scar didn't know very much about his daughter, because she was born during he left and when he returned to PrideRock with Kovu, he was quite amazed to find this little one. =)

During his mother was hunting, Kovu was free to go where he wanted in the jungle. That day, he walked up to the border of the forest and arrived in the desert.
There, he found a strange lion lying on the sand, fainted certainly of fatigue and thirst.

The first meeting between Scar and Kovu ! =)

Nuka was happy to spend some times with his father, but I didn’t know how make him smile. He said :
"Daddy, the Prideland it's the greatest place eeeever !"
Scar sighed, thinking :
“This land is the most pathetic of all places since I’m the king, I’m the most pathetic king and father they will never have and you are the most pathetic cub I have never seen.”
As Nuka watched at him, waiting for an answer, he just said :
“Don’t call me daddy, Nuka.”
