Only one pic to be uploaded this time around and it's a rather late birthday wish for my muse and my idol, Edgar A. Poe. Drew this Jan. 19th so that his 200th birthday would be observed. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to a comp until now, so he's getting a rather belated birthday wish from yours truly. I'm not sure if he's unhappy about how late it is or because of his (very old) age.

Most of the time, Edgar's not thrilled with his little companion, but other times it makes him long for the things he never had, a family of his own for example. Nimbus fell asleep against him and Edgar gives a small smile as he hesitantly puts an arm around the cub.

The man drew himself up. "That," he managed to say, "was a vicious blow."
The first meeting between Nimbus and Edgar: Nimbus crashes into him in the middle of a street in the middle of the night. The background sux much like the last one I submitted. Makes me wonder why I bother tryng.

"There," he whispered.
Edmund darted a swift glance at the body. The sight made his insides shrivel. Hardly able to breathe, he turned away and leaned into Edgar.
Inspired by Avi's novel, "The Man Who Was Poe," a scene between Edgar and my lil Angel Edmund, better known as Nimbus. It's taken from the moment the body of Edmund's aunt is discovered. Eddy's supposed to be pointing, butit doesn't really look right.

I don't care who you are or where you're from... You don't mess with a man's Coca Cola, even if he's already wired. Eddy and Coke are a dangerous combination, especially since he's possessive about it.

My lion version of Eddy got a makeover. I wasn't happy with the original design. Still not sure I really like it. BTW, the tattoo on his right arm is a claddagh, a tribute to his Irish ancestry.

A Tigan version of dear Eddy. I opted to make him an Angel Tigan for what reason I have no idea. Though it may have something to do with the fact that before he was a lion, he was a gargoyle with black feathered wings which were in turn inspired by his poem and subsequent nickname, "The Raven." So pfft!
