. . . One of my favorite pictures ever. Just the movement, the expression, the detail I put into his cowl. It took a lot of time to sketch and color. I'm trying to take more time and put more effort into the coloring because my art lately looks a bit messy when it comes to the coloring. I think it's partly my patience and lack thereof. I'm usually in such a rush to get this stuff done and posted I don't take the time I should to just do one step at a time and make sure the coloring is nice and neat. But I've gotta know.... how do you make a pic "paint-friendly" so you just use bucket-fill and there're no blank areas that have to be painted? Seriously, how do you make a pic "paint-friendly?" Mind, I use GIMP.

Le printemps, when flowers bloom, snow melts, and the weather gets warmer. In celebration of the coming season as well as freedom from the winter chill and my dad and stepmother. Also doodled in a French class a few years ago. I <3 French.

Clopin and his puppet double, known simply as Puppet. It's Clopin's way of talking to himself without really talking to himself, maybe so he doesn't look so insane. Puppet or no puppet, he's still crazy, but that's what makes Clopin Clopin.

A picture of Cloin comforting a cubbie Erik. Little screwed up because Erik's actually older than Clopin. Gonna have to change that, this actually goes along with a non-Tigan storyline for Clopin and Erik.

Nother updated character sheet for Clopin, this time with hate and shawl with bells cuz what's Clopin without his bells or some semblacne of his festival outfit? Admittedly the idea to add it was inspired by Maggot's half of a trade we did awhile back:

Clopin and Edgar are unlikely friends, but between Clopin upbeat attitude an Edgar's pessimism, they balance each out pretty well. Clopin's giving Edgar some comfort even though the look on his face sas otherwise.

A ref sheet for my Clopin Tigan with his weapon: a scythe. Should you hear the sound of a bell on the wind, beware. Should you fatally earn his wrath that bell will be the last thing you hear. He tends to wear a cowl compelte with bells around his shoulders as well as cloth at the top of his ankles and a mask when he performs, the fur of his arms also gets dyed: the left blue and the right magenta.

I did it, I finally did it: I drew Clopin as a Tigan. He's Song and wears his jewel around his neck.
EDIT: Finally decided on his colors! So here's the completed version and congrats to Wolverina/Dodger. I'd set up a little contest and hers were the ones I liked best. Admittedly the design got tweaked a bit to suit my personal tastes.

I was watching Animal Planet's the Most Extreme cats. Me, being the nutcase I am decided to write them down, as I was doing so, I doodled a pic of Clopin as a panther. It came out really good so voila! Clopin is a panther.
