i´m so original!x). in fact i think i´ve done this pose before...
aaanyway, as the previous, this pic was rather drawn in my style.
meant to be uploaded on the Canon day (which was my 22th birthday BTW) but i spent all the time traveling X.x

well, pretty much a speed paint (took only 3 hours and half) but still happy with it :). drawn in my style, i don´t feel confortable drawing like Disney
and moar Zazu art for great justice

entry for the current archieve contest "Kiara, oh Kiara" :). i am really happy with the results of this! why i do like Kiara? because she´s brave, daring and takes the initiative. i really love when she fights Zira (who i think is phisically much stronger than her)to actually protect her father (stronger, indeed!. and i wanted to represents this scene :)
another reason why i like her: she´s full of joy of life, something the majority of people (at least in da internetz) lacks of.
i hope you like it!! this picture took alot of time, and it was fun to do ^^.

what you´re trying to do doesn´t make any sense. besides, don´t you realize that those hyenas are starving as much as you lionesses?! what makes you fear them or that weak king of yours so much?!"
the fact that the lionesses needed of Simba to liberate themselves of Scar always bugged me alot... so what if they just rebeled agaist their king? (i did a fanfiction about this back in 1996 or so, in which Simba was actually killed by the hyenas)
i´ll leave you to decide if they might be sucessful or not =3. after all, the contest was about how would change the history if they kept the cut characters ;)

for Cat B´s contest :)
i must say that i love walking in the night, specially during the week, when there´s not too much people around. it´s generally a relaxing moment, a time to reflect, and i love it =3
so well... Nuka looks pretty blue here! he´s probably thinking about his mother, her favoritism towards Kovu, and why isn´t he the chosen one...
really, the picture doesn´t reflect how i feel right now in the slightest. i am so wicked happy because of some things in real life, and because i got several comissions (they´re open here too, of course).also, i´m sorry about the BG ^^; working on my comic´s fourth page during the three last days almost whithout any break left me sort of exhausted...

i am experimenting two things i don´t tend to here: realism (EPIC FAIL!!) and painting with watercolor pencils... and yup, they´re Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. notice they´re drawn in a "realistic" style, but with their original colors (well, more or less). Timon looks more like an Aguará Popé (however you call the South American raccoon in english) than like a meerkat, but oh well.
i had this idea in my mind since a quite long time, and decided to throw it to the paper when i saw the current contest theme. don´t quite like it, but i am submitting it anyway... the dialogue is based on a book i have, i haven´t watched the movie in years xp

my entry for the current contest,Walking on Water :)
seems like Ed is enjoying the bath alot!^^. and yeah, since there´s no sponges in the jungle/savannah, let´s make one with some plants tied to a branch xD
it took its time, but i am really happy with the results :). hope you like it!
and, BTW, notice that i´ve signed it as Aguará, instead of LobaFeroz. i´ll sign like that from now, but i am not sure if i want to change my username to AguaráGuazú, since other people changing theirs always confuse me xD
(anyway, sorry for my unactivity here... i have many exams those days, and i´m quite busy ATM.. but i´ll be a bit more free next week ;) )

i´ve just noticed that, evety time i´ve drawn Zazu, i made him besides another chracters...
so well, for a change, i wanted to draw a piece exclusively dedicated to him :). he´s a great character, and i think can stand out by himself.
here´s the hornbill, jailed as he was during Scar´s reign =(. poor him, i don´t think he had a gret time there...

just a try of Timon... this guy is hard to draw ^^;
i know it has alot of mistakes, but decided to submit it anyway :). i just realized that my gallery has too much lions, so i want to add a "non-lion-chara" series of pics...
Timon is the first, but eventually i´ll draw Zazu and Rafiki too :)(yeah... and i am owning a decent Timon picture as well =p )

i feel tempted to say "i´m not dead" x3. i´ve just been drawing alot of off topic, hence my unactivity here ^^;
seems like Kiara is disobeying daddy again =3. but the actual purpose of this picture, is practicing the Pridelands background, some textures (my tablet has less than one month <3 )and, mainly, the perspective, which was never my strongest point.
and besides, i just realized that this is the very first time i draw the Priderock. better ignore Kiara, i included her just to not make an empty bg, but i am very aware of how off model she looks =3
any suggestions to make it better is welcome. annoyingly enough, take off Kiara, the trees, and the rocks on the ground, and it looks really neat. maybe i´ll upload that version later

a picture to the contest, "focus on relationships". i know i´ll not win, just for fun ^^.
nothing very original, just Kiara playing with Nala´s tail, as lion cubs do. i´ve noticed that the majority of the pictures feature Simba and Kiara, but i haven´t seen many pictures about mother and daughter. and seems like Nala wasn´t as overprotective as Simba.
i am really happy that i found an accurate color to Nala, though i think Kiara´s look wrong...
hmm, enjoy!

a picture of Shenzi, Banzai and Ed (and a poor wildebeest xD). they´re great characters. and Hyenas, one of my favourite animals (altough this is a veeery long list =p)
here, i wanted to reflect the fact that Hyenas are awesome hunters, much more effective than lions: they manage to catch the prey in 90% of the cases.
they are known for their powerful digestive system, able to digest the entire prey (inluding bones, horns, and even hooves), as well as rotten meat.
about the picture, i think Ed does not look very well, but i hope you like it :). feel free to give any constructive criticysm

gah... my english sucks, i know xp. this is supossed to show Scar´s first morning as King. i am pretty happy with this :)
it was very time-comsuming, but i had loads of fun as i worked on it.
*full view recommended... what´s in the savannah?^^*

i started sketching this out of boredom. the funniest thing is that i didn´t used any references, but this is my very first decent Vitani drawing xD.
for some reason, i´m very happy with this one :). i think it looks more than okay...

EDIT: i think this would be okay for the current archive contest, though i am working on a new picture to it, featuring Nuka, Vitani and Kovu :)(multiple entries per artist are allowed)

just a try of Timon. this guy is kind of hard, but yet fun to draw. i find myself some mistakes in his anatomy: the feet and hands look wrong, maybe too short, his body weird, and his butt maybe a bit fat... what do you think?
i love constructive criticism, so feel free to point my mistakes ;) (BTW, the trees in he BG do look better in the original, the scanner ruined it)
yeah, i do some traditional art, i´m working on an adult Nala pic too =3.
