Art trade with Cubbie, who asked for Nala and Sarafina on a hunt. It wasn't mentioned whether Nala shold be adult or cub, so I decided Sarafina should be taking her young daughter out for a few observational lessons :)

I spent so long on this and I don't really like it, something seems to be missing *shrugs* Maybe some antelope or zebra would have looked nice but I was losing my patience with the wildebeest. Also, Sarafina turned out like a Nala-clone more than sarafina :/

Ah well.

An older Kovu for Terry over on Solace RP.

I didn't forget the Scar, it's healed up ;3

I don't think it conveys an older Kovu, I think he still looks very young - Ah well not many things I draw come out like I want, I'm used to it.

Just hope Terry'll like it :)

EDIT: Hopefully higher quality now, but it's very hard for me to tell with the Monitor I'm using D8

This is my half of a canon trade with Kalamu. We were to draw each others' favorite scene from the first movie, so this is one of hers :) It was hard not to copy a screen shot directly, so I basically stared at one for a while, took the colours from it, closed it and tried to draw from memory. If you look at a screenshot of that scene you'll see it's actually very different lol, my memory must suck XD

BG in Photoshop Elements 5, characters and finishing in Paint Tool SAI. The only thing that I use pre-made brushes for was the moss, so I'm quite proud of myself :D

My half of a canon trade with Jogu, who wanted Simba and Nala as cubs :3

I used Paint Tool SAI again, so there's another BG of my own making, but that program is so nice to use that I don't mind.

(I think Nala looks a lil too big :/)

My half of a canon trade with Tamu. I used paint tool SAI, so that's why the bg is crappy...because it was all drawn by me with no lovely tree brushes or anything :(

I spent a good amount of time at this one, I hope it paid off..

Simba, Kopa and Nala go for a little stroll throught the pridelands. No references used this time :) I thought I'd give Kopa green eyes to make him less of a Simba clone.

This is my finished request/trade (we haven't decided yet lol) for Shembre, I hope you like it hun!

Sarabi & Simba for Prizzle, my part of our trade. Wow, Priz, we're super quick with the trades XD

Simba's napping on his Mommy, he was up too late last night watching the stars with Daddy :)

I'm so proud of Simba in this one (he's completely un-reffed), however I reffed Sarabi again by staring at a few pics of her before I began this...she still doesn't look right to me though...

Anyway hope you like it Prizzle (and please ignore the rushed bg lol) :)

For a canon trade with Koraden :)

I love in TLK 1 1/2 when adult Simba, timon and pumbaa are settling down for the night. Simba gives pumbaa a "noogie" and Timon tickles simba's tummy (so cute). So I thought, hey, he must have tickled him as a cub too...so this is the little wind down after a tickle attack, Timon has the same expression I get on my face when I play with my cat i.e. adoring parent lol.

Anyway, hope you like it, I took my time with the lines and colouring this time, and I think it paid off.

No refs used, but I did take the colours from screenshots.

I had to ref Sarabi alot because I'm not used to drawing her, and I pretty much had to guess how Kula looks from a few pics I've seen of her, but all in all I'm quite happy with this :)

Nala didn't like the way the old lion had been looking at her lately. It was the final straw that she would take during Scar's reign. She decided that night-for the good of her pride, the pridelands and herself- that she would leave to find help under the cover of darkness.

Request for Pride_Rock completed! Here's sleeping Timon and Pumbaa like you asked :D I tried to figure out their night time colours, but it didn't quite work...oh well, Hope you like it!

This is a request for Charlie; sorry it doesn't look so good but I've never drawn cub Kovu before and I've never drawn any Vitani before (come to think of it I've never drawn alot of SP characters). Anyway Charlie, I hope you like it, but in my head it could've been better.
