For the Coloring Cave. The cubs playing with the zebra tail were originally Simba and Mheetu but you can color them as whoever you like.

Here's a tip if you want to make ANY lineart Paint-friendly. Open the lineart in Paint and re-save it as a Monochromatic Bitmap. Keep that window open...then open a new Paint window alongside your lineart. Copy the lineart into the new window, and voila! (Note: you can't save it and work on it more later when you do this; it has to be colored all in one shot.) Hope that's helpful! :)

They're supposed to be inbetween baby and cub age, sort of like how I draw TLK Mheetu. Spots and all. ^^

The 44th President of the United States is sworn in: Barack Obama. And that is as cool as it gets, folks.

America needs a little optimism these days.

On an artistic note, it looks like Kovu has put on some patriotic colors to celebrate, with all those stripes and 50 stars in his mane. He was drawn in Sketcher (big thanks to BooYeh and Fire_Lioness for helping me finish before reset!) and the rest was done in Photoshop. The photo is from the LA Times.

Character request for BBM! ^^

He doesn't have a name, but I'm sure you can think of one. The scars on his right shoulder he got as a young cub, when a hawk tried to carry him off. Having survived but marked forever, he became a great hunter of the most dangerous birds of Africa. The black heron on his back was rescued from the talons of an eagle and has been his spy and close partner ever since (could be male or female, whichever). The gloves are optional, you don't have to draw them if you don't want to. Hope you like him!

Done in Sketcher. The background is a waterfall for some reason--don't ask me why. XD

A Zazu tutorial - just the thing for the Bird Bonanza!

It's a GIF file, and it shifts frames about every 7 seconds, I think. It's a very basic tutorial reffed from a clipart image that anyone can access at ?Clip_Art+hi

The idea was suggested to me by Nala15--hope you like the result! (No bird profile today because I am dead tired from making this!)

100 Fans! Hurray!

I felt bad for those who got left out of my last massive fan-pic, so this time I kept it simple to make sure everyone could be involved. This picture shows the order you joined in (except for my invisibles)! It starts in the top left corner and goes down the column, then down the next column, etc. Also, it lets you see who your fellows are--trust me, you're in good company! Some names are abbreviated or shortened because I can't write that tiny. ;)

Thank you all for supporting me, whether you have been with me from the start, just joined up, or are still invisible. Every one of you makes my artwork worthwhile!

And to celebrate, here is my 500th/1 year anniversary/I'm not dead picture! For my fans! (Better image here: 500.png )

It's like your own little Where's Waldo--I've taken either a fursona or a character of yours and drawn them into the picture. See if you recognize anybody!

I swear I'm not doing another one of these for a loooong time, because it almost killed me. It was started back in June, so I only have my 68 visible fans from that time pictured. I'm sorry if you're new and you're not there! But you'll probably have to wait until my 1000th picture before I work up the courage to attempt this again.

It's a character for new artist Milli!

An adolescent lioness, in shades of silver and red and blue violets. She has a crescent moon pendant with an earring and tail rings. The marking on her shoulder is the Japanese kanji character for winter, because that's the season this design was inspired by. Hope you like her, Milli! :D

Wish List: Cheetah Character

My cheetah char Kailluo with a male from the TT (offered by King Simba) that I want to adopt to be Salem, her mate. This is a colored version of an earlier grayscale pencil drawing, and I really like how it turned out. :)

Wish List: Kairu

A character of Zenit's that I want to get off the trading tree--I got to choose her colors and everything! I would like to call her Kairu, meaning "black one" in Kenyan, and adopt her as part of my melanist pride.

Note: the lineart is copyright to Zenit--I just basically colored it.

Hmm...I didn't get a comment or message or anything from Zenit, but the char is gone now. I feel snubbed. -_-
