TLK pennant for our trips with Simba as a heraldic lion. A joint idea and making with Night Gryphon. Our first experiment with batik. It was finished at last minutes before train, so it's not as perfect as we wanted. Was seamed at the electric train, so we couldn't iron it.

I forgot how to draw - this picture took some hours and the result is not the best. Therefore it was drawn almost completely in Painter, only some colour and shadow correction was made in Photoshop. No reference.

This is the mask of Nala from musical "The Lion King" on Broadway. I made it for RusFurrence. The mask is about 300 grammes weight and more heavy than original mask from musical. But I still can use it. Yes, this girl made-up as panther is me;)
Not sure about colours, because I didn't see the musical, just used screenshots from my TLK gift set. And the mask there have different colours because of the lightening....

They are coloured now! I think colours are a little wrong because acrylic paints changed their colours when they dried (you can't see real colours because this photo is just awful, but trust me).

I'm not dead, just make "things" for RusFurrence:) These are some plaster statuettes I made for friends using my old statuette of Mufasa. This time I'll colour it. And the one on the right was spoiled, so I'll have only four gifts.
One "thing" to come, I have 2 days before Furrence;)

I lost all the magic I wanted to put in this picture:( Also you can see how bad I draw stones, trees, leaves and water (I'm absolutely serious, I know with pastels I can do much better, so don't argue with me).

Simba going across the desert after leaving the Pridelands.
It's a very funny to slide down the sand hills. But when you need to do in for hundred times, it's very hard. And paws don't obey.

Sorry for the awful quality of this scan. It was drawn with a pencil and I didn't clean and draw out lines in my album.

This idea comes after I had read a book about lions. Lion cubs often play with tortoises so why TLK lions can't do the same?:)

Nala: Didn't you ever seen this thing before? My mom told it will not bite.

Let's imagine the life of TLK pride is similar to the life of real lions.
Then Mufasa (if he stay alive) needs to drive Simba away for some time when he grews up. Just to let him live his own life;) So Hakuna Matata still can have place!

Mufasa:"Simba, you're grown-up and now you need some time to live your own life. So you can understand yourself."
Simba:"Wow, it's great!"
Mufasa:"It's not so easy, son."

"I love you, mom!"
First I wanted to colour it in a "furry-TLK" style. Then wanted not to draw every strand of wool, but make them look short-haired like real lions and play with colours.
I know I can do it better next time. At least I'll try;)

I don't really beleive Ahadi can hit Taka, but I didn't read Chronicles. So this is just another sketchy "picture" :)
I'm lasy to finish it. And don't remember how to decrease file size so I need to decrease the picture:/

A little doodle. Didn't know what to do and drew this. I know it's not the best, it have a lot of mistakes, but I'm not about to correct it.

It took about 1.5 hours. Including some dialogs in ICQ;)

I tried to draw my first Zazu without reference, but he turned out very unrecognizable. So I needed to look at screenshots.

A one year old request for my friend. I've made some changes after making this photo, but I'm not sure my camera can show it correctly. Pastel, A2.

It took about 2-3 weeks pure time (if I can draw it every evening). I used references (some photos), but didn't copy not a blade of grass, just for learning anatomy and some possible contrast.

- Am I really so fat and short?
- They made me looks like a chinese....
- I have so strange expression like I just ate a big lemon.
- I like it. I look like myself on this photo.

I made a gift for my friend Vovych (the same plastica) and then tried to make a plaster copy. I was wrong choosed pressurizer for my work - the original statuette was damaged a lot and the new needs much work to be something not so bad.
So in the left is my original work, in the right - the copy.

Now it finished! I needed just to correct come plases and paint it white (white colour can show all the details. Also it can hide dirty spots - plastica is a very adhesive for dust).

I made it, using Disney's model sheets and one photo. All this stuff you can see on TLK DVD. And I didn't use any maquettes, even didn't know they are exist. So you can notice some differenses between.
