My brother and sister-in-law are having problems, and i worry about my nieces and nephew. The oldest niece is the same age as i was when my parents split, and i can't help but remember how it affected me.

Even though my parents remained friends for years, it still troubled me. And the split she's going through looks like it's going to be a long, ugly fight. I hope she's doing okay.

The birth was a success, but Sarabi could hardly stand to look at the bouncing, happy male cub. She left the den, her head held proudly and her eyes filling with tears. She looked over her shoulder regretfully and shut her eyes tightly. She found if she closed them tight enough, she could almost feel Simba's warm fur rubbing against her leg. She was the Queen, and it was time to let the past go. She had other duties to fulfill now, and no amount of wishing would bring Simba or Mufasa back.
