I was watching TLK the other day and I thought I would sketch up some pictures of Zazu. So I paused the movie and drew some Zazu's. I ended up colouring them but not shading. I think he's a pretty cool character. He's such a beautiful hornbill!

That pose in one of the hardest ones I've done. But I'm going out of my comfort zone. And I'm not too good at making cubs look like cubs. Anyways, her name is Zuri-Uovi. It means 'good-evil' in Swahili. Zuri is another old character of mine. SimbaGirl was especially fond of her!

Kaka means "older brother" in Swahili. He was Dusty's older brother. Kaka is a lion who's markings I took off of my real life cat. He loves eating, which is why he is chubby in the gut. (Another trait I stole from my cat!)

Dusty is an old charcter that I use to have years ago. He was inspired by my cat who is named Dusty. I found an old drawing of Dusty and thought that it was a bit sad that no one can enjoy him anymore. So here he is! Kaka was his older brother.

All bow to King Mohatu! This is what I think he would look like. For all of you who don't know who Mohatu is, he is the father of Ahadi and grandfather of Mufasa.

Edit: Just found out Mohatu doesn't actually look like this. Saw a picture of him drawn by disney. He is a dark brown lion. So next time I draw him he will look different...pity 'cause I liked this one. X)
