R.I.P Rex and Twitch

Tribute

Rex -
Rex was a German Shephard. We got him when I was Two years old, and he's was around for 13 years. I love him to bits, but he had arthritis, and he was getting old...he was put down on Saturday the 30th of May 2009. It was heartbreaking for the whole family - he has been there through thick and thin, hot and cold. He came on holidays with us, we went on runs together, and it was really hard to say goodbye.

Twitch -
My friend owns these two dogs, Lucky - a Chihuaua x Pomerainian and Blondie - a Maltese Terrier. They have been having Puppies for a while, and on the 27th of January, 2009 Twitch was born. Eight weeks later he came home with us. Rexie adored him, and they played with each other - which was kinda funny because Rex was like...10 times the size of Twitch. But he was gentle and put up with him...Not even a week after Rexie got put down - on the 5th of June 2009, Twitch got hit by a car and broke his neck. I came home at 7 that night, and he wasn't there to greet me at the door.

Life is unfair sometimes....I wish it'd get better...
