Chapter One, Page One
Yes! I did it! After nearly a month of procrastination, I finally got off my butt and started my comic. The lion you see right there is King Tyan himself- I guess you finally get to see him after him being in my characters for so long without a face. Oh well. I deleted that, and I’m gonna put it back there as soon as I make him a ref scene. And yes. It’s a cliff hanger- I’ll get page two up ASAP.

For Booyeh, cause I hated the last trade picture I drew for her. So, I redrew my side. It’s Odis chilling in the jungle (I couldn’t help myself- I had to draw another waterfall XD They’re so prettyful)
I kept trying to draw his belt but it looked so stupid each and every time that I decided to cut it out- hope you don’t mind too much.

This is my part of a trade with Apex; my second attempt ‘cause I didn’t like my first picture. I ditched it and started to draw this one. It’s one of her older characters- Queen Alpas. I really enjoyed drawing it, and I hope you like it Apex :3

Ahadi left her be- people needed space. Uru climbed to the end of Priderock, lying down. “I miss you, Dad.” She whispered brokenly, closing her eyes.

Picture number 50.
Yes, I have finally hit my first landmark, which I am thrilled about. It took longer then I thought, but I still got there. I figured that this should be a special piece, so I especially spent a long time on this. BG was reffed majorly, but I’m happy with it. I don’t think this is how or what I expected for my 50th picture, but I’m happy about it. Yeah.

Taj looks a little weird compared to my ref- I guess she had puppy fat as a cub :) The bird-which needs a name, I was thinking about Li- took a while; I fail at birds by the way…This picture is to represent Taj’s freedom within her family, and her relationship with Li. Taj is the small shadow in the background compared to Karuna, but she is happy in her place.

The next day Uru walked alone. She refused to eat, to hunt, or to take on the role of queen. She was approaching the area where her father had often told her stories of his old pride when she was young. She stopped when she heard another voice- Ahadi.

“I’m sorry, Mohatu. I’m so sorry. But I will take care of Uru. That is my promise. She will be the finest queen this land has ever seen. I will make sure of it.”

For Booyeh

Spare me a second, please. Booyeh is by far the friendliest and open artist here that I have met thus far, and I am glad to have met her. She has supported me, taught me (so much more then she probably realises), and made sure I remain positive about my art. Pretty much the first and only good friend I’ve had here on the archive, and I hope that she feels as good as I think she deserves to.
So, this one’s for you, Boo.

I love how this picture turned out. It’s Ahadi and Uru (for my watchers who don’t know who that is, it’s the mother and father of Scar and Mufasa) I think I’m getting the hang of anatomy, but I hate the angle that I drew this picture from. It’s so hard >.<

1. Introduction The young queen-Uru- stood at the edge of the waterhole, her green eyes scanning over the savannah. Soon, this would all be hers. But yet with the freedom of queen, rules and expectations were to be upheld.

Picture one- Introduction. You would not believe how much frustration it took to draw this picture. 3 days, uncountable amounts of cursing, and a temperamental tablet= hell. But, I still have to admit that I am really proud of this picture. No reference was used (Apart from those damn zebras) and I tried to make it as Disney-esqe as possible. I’m happy with the results :D

"Uru, he's been gone for hours. I'm so sorry." The king choked, weeping in despair.
He hadn't meant to hurt Taka that badly, it just...happened. Curse his anger. He would never be a good a king as Mohatu, no matter how hard he would try. He never had the patience, nor the calm. Uru settled down next to her mate, nuzzling him gently.
"He'll come back when he's ready." She whispered, her voice echoing through the empty cave.
“He’ll come back when he’s ready.”

Little Taka is lost, hurt and alone. When things can't get any worse, it starts to rain.
Isn't that the way it always goes?

*Phew* It is done!
I am so happy how this turned out- it was really an experimental piece for me :D

I wasn't in a good mood :(
It was meant to be my furry, but I wasn't really concentrating when I drew and in turned into a random.

I found out a few nights ago that my youth group leader is leaving to tassie for at least a year. Now, I might have normally not been as sad about this but the thing was/is that without her, the group wil fall to pieces. I know this already, because even with her here it's falling apart.

Stupid Jamie, Stupid masiy and her clones.

They changed Fuze forever, and not in a good way.

Another one of Noma- very fun to draw. I got the idea when I was remembering a conversation with my friend, Mona. (whom Noma is based off) She told me that she did yoga, and I thought that was funny; she doesn't seem like the type at all.

Anyway, I drew it out of boredom and it only took thirty minutes, give or take. I was sort of lazy when it came to clean up :/

I was going through all of my sketch books when I came across this picture. I remember in one of my very early fanfic plots, this guy (Bel-San) was prince. But it seems as I have another prince now- whom you will meet very soon- it seems my Bel-san is a wanderer.

Kinua, second born of King Tyan and Queen Lani.

My first upload! This was one of the first LK pictures I ever drew, and I had started to colour it on the computer so I kept going because I was bored.I'm currently writing a story about this lioness and her family; I will finish ASAP so you can see what happens to her.

Technical side of things, I drew and coloured this by hand, scanned, used GIMP to outline and colour. Feedback and constructive criticism fully welcomed
