Kiara in a pose, lounging on a... well, to me it looks like a box covered with "African symbol style" painting. Lord knows how much it must have cost to Walt Disney Company to get Kiara pose on that box. :D

Oh, by the way #1: Kiara is difficult to draw.
By the way #2: I seem to have a habit to draw lions lounging. Does that mean I'm a lazy person? :S

A new character, Shadow-Eye. Here's "how she was born, step by step". I'll upload some final Clip-art pics and the character sheet later. Shortly of her: about 8 months I've been thinking what would a gothic TLK character look like... she's is my beloved cousin, S, as "lionized". But, naturally, this is just my opinion of the matter.

No. The Spirit of Christmas.

It just turned out to be Evana xD. I'm very interested in character designs, and her beautiful fursona just caught my eye.

I haven't had a chance to see your gallery full, Eva, but the stories I've heard and the 3 pictures I've seen show up some serious talent, a real gift. I'm sorry art thieves (who aren't welcome to my gallery either! So don't come around!) have hurt you and droven you away from the archives. I hope you don't mind I drew your char without asking first, as I couldn't find your email address anywhere.

She is such a lovely character. I hope I managed to capture her as she is supposed to look :).

Lions sleep 12-20 hours a day (correct me if I'm wrong...). And don't you think Simba suffered from the heat sometimes? In winter time, Africa is like THE most hot place on planet <:).

Whee, another un-known hornbill! Madame Horn is Simba's royal teacher ;D.

Nala and the Wonders of the Spring.

Sun is shining ^^! Originally this was colored with color pencils, but then I decided to make it like this. I used black marker too. I have a lot to develope when it comes to marker shading, but I just loove doing it :) I love Don Rosa's excellent marker work in his comics.

I decided to make this in seepia tune :). I thought the grass would be the hardest part, but no, oh no - it was very difficult for me to draw the lionesses from that point of view! Took me like... ages *goes practising*.

All the dark clouds gathered upon me, and my thoughts went down to the deepest darkness.
Zira must have gone throug some really hard times, and she also must have done this thing sometimes - visiting the Pridelands. Maybe it all begun out of mother's love.

I... I'm still alive... today is the 3rd day I've colored this one. I've put some effort in it xD. Very enjoyable, though mentally hard.

My tribute to The Lion.

I drew this couple of years ago when I was writing and preparing my biology/geography project "Lion". Though I never got it finished. This was supposed to be the cover. Looks pretty nice like this - I made it darker after scanning.

They say we Finns are mad... sometimes the tourists really get something to think about, like Aruna here. ;D

I think Aruna has such a beautiful fursona that there should be a limit for the number of gifts drawen of her ;). This is propably the 4th picture submitted by me - soon she'll have to start rejecting them *grinning*!

This is the first drawing I made out of her updated character sheet. I think the pic looks absolutely better like this, black and white, than colored. It's a pure lineart :)!

Zavadi is a lioness in the Priderock group. (You can meet her in the comic page with Sarabi, Sarafina, Nala and a random lioness). She doesn't appear in the movies, books, comics or any other Disney releases, but as I have planned she belongs to the group, she kind of belongs to Disney. She is a fanart character. That's why I won't put her to my own characters. You can use her in your TLK art as far as I decide :).

Zavadi has the ear circles like Sarabi and cub Simba. Her eyes are totally black. She is smart, brave and loyal to the king.

ZAVADI is a swahilian word and means "gift".

As a whole, The Lion King is a huge collection of pieces of amazing artwork. When I upload real media stuff, I (these days) want to keep up the true quality. That's why I was ensured when it came to uploading this picture.

It absolutely isn't a piece of great artwork. After thinging a long time, I decided to reveal you how miserable I am in comic drawing.

I have enjoyed reading Efi Wild's comic very much. Hooray and humble thanks to her :)

Sorry, Efi.. I had to delete the earlier pic, as I couldn't stand looking at it anymore - I noticed some serious problems with the anatomical things.. but... this is a gift for you. You work hard for "Nala's Tears"!

Update, 4/4/06: I noticed a serious problem with her nose and face :6... pure anatomical mistake. Well, I guess it means I'm progressing when I notice problems in the older pics ;)!
I can't be proud of the colors x(.. Paint is the only program I know how to use when it comes to coloring. I hope it's okay :D..?
