Timon and teh buggies. I've been working on the background, like, for ages and it still looks...I dunno, too drab like i should have heightened the contrast maybe or used richer colors.
I do like the bugs though, they were fun to draw. :)

Well, with Timon gone, Ma had to fill the void somehow...

Edit: For the contest. Call me kooky, but I've always thought Ma and Max would make a sweet couple, ( I tend to think of uncle Max as being related to Timon on his dad's side) even pudgy, old meerkats need love. ;) Oh! and grooming can be a 'dating ritual'. XD

Gave another older sketch a paintjob. :) I wanted to experiment with using the paint tool for inking instead of the pen tool. It looks a little squiggly in places...but I think I like it.

Anyway, this is my take on Kopa. I never liked how he just looked like simba with a hairpiece. lol
