Decided to break down Scar's design and try it myself. Pretty boring pose and expression, but I actually figured out some stuff in the process.

I'm taking a night class for basic art (human emphasis though...) and animated characters is our current theme, and I'm getting a lot out of it. C: I finally feel like I know what I'm doing. LOL.

Hurray for Pixel Art!
I don't have a clue why I enjoy that sort of stuff but I do. It's what I used to do without my tablet or PS/OC. Which wasn't that long ago. So I don't have much sympathy for mouse users, since I did that for several years and lived. Yes this is transparent - with black and white outlines.

I'm not in a sad mood or anything, I just chose this emotion because I felt like drawing it, and Simba and Nala...
But anyway, Nala basically looks like she's going insane and Simba's holding her back. I'll let you take this as you want to.

Angry Simba. I wanted some shadowy effects and I got 'em. No legs and tail because, they just aren't there! I'm notorious for forgetting Simba's hind legs so this is just another example.

I actually like the shading on this, for once!
Mufasa's song is Keane - "Bedshaped" and Sarabi's song and their duet at the bottom is of course "Memory" from Cats. Their poses are inspired by the movie. *tears for love*

Everyone's favorite mom, Sarabi!
Like my lines? Haha. I just got OC, and I'm quite impressed with the brushes, hopefully my images will get even better looking as I get used to the program, so far, so good it seems.
I'm considering a matching Mufasa picture, but I'm not so good at drawing him....

I always think of Scar when I see Captain Jack Sparrow (PoTC) and so I tweaked Scar's design, mixed it with Jack Sparrow, added some rum, and stranded him in the ocean and here it is!
