I can't decide if I should make her a listed character or not. I went a little crazy with colors because I needed a change from my usual dusty hues. And I wanted to see how my hair would look on a lioness. LOL. I really like her though...
And I do love yellow.
The background is a based a little on the Blue Bayou.

Happy New Year!

In case you didn't already know, I'm going to Disneyland for my first time, by myself (long, irritating story) right after New Year's Day.
I'm pretty disappointed in the person who was going to come with me, but I'm still looking forward to this a lot.

He's been long overdue for a makeover.
There were a few features that I didn't design him with but I always imagined him having. And I lightened his hair so he'd be a little less monotonal. He looked a good bit like Kovu before.
I'm working on these for all my characters - at least, that's the plan. HAHA.

Oh and if you were on the AIM chat with me while I was making this, you'll know the full story. XP
So anyway, I actually used Photoshop for the first time in like 7 months for lineart and it worked ok I guess. It frustrates me to death so I moved it and colored/shaded in OC.

Yeah I'm Gemini aka "twins", one of the more forgotten zodiacs. It's so true for me because I'm like two different people slammed into one body. Maybe that's why I'm so weird. Matt's a gemini too, but for now this is enough for me, drawing twins is harder than I thought. XD

This is how I made my top banna!
Notice the changes from sketch to colored, particularly in the face. I don't have a tablet so I scan my sketches and outline over them with my laser mouse.
