Meh. This took way to long. And I still don't like how Sarafina turned out. But eh.

...Is it just me, or does everyone else seem to draw paws...smaller? Even Disney...but in my pictures, I always tend to draw them big...is this just part of my 'style' (like I have one lol), or is it a huge anatomical error that I need to fix? =/

Digital painting! I figured out how to set the paintbrush tool on Photoshop to make it like a real paintbrush, then I painted! This pic is nothing but paintbrush tool, burn tool, and dodge tool. (Hint: Go ahead and use the grass brush...drawing...er, painting it, is a long, tedious process...)

For the current contest, if it's still running... :-/

Nala protects her younger brother Mheetu from a pack of hyenas. Partially inspired by Timali's character guide. ^^

I made up Mheetu's design; the concept art didn't help much. And Nala looks nothing like Nala. Or maybe she's adolescent Nala. -.-

And those shadows in front are supposed to be hyena shadows. I can draw wolves, dogs, foxes...but not good at hyenas yet. :P

Can someone puh-lease tell me I've improved? Those pictures on the left are some of the first TLK pics I ever drew with a mouse...about 4 months before I came here. I didn't upload them becuase I knew I could draw better, and I knew they looked like cr*p.

*sigh* I know, I should make a poster for my other story. But I'm depressed. And when your depressed, you create depressing pictures. So, Sarabi's depressed for some reason. First person to guess the constellation in the picture (and where it is in the picture)gets a request.(Even tho its obvious...)
