Commission for someone on DeviantArt... (I'm Frodo-Lion over there by the way) He got me a three month sub, and I did this picture of Simba for him... Lots of new things tried, Ahadi is barely visable in the sunset... And lots of work once again with transparency. I did make one version have a transparent "darkness" over the whole piece to make it more accurate, but both my parents and the commissioner preferred this one... I hope my backgrounds and overall art are improving! SDG

Malka, Tojo, and some of his birds wish Simba a happy birthday!

Did this for my brother's birthday--except it said his name instead of "Simba". He was really excited when he recieved it today--even though it's very late... Tried a lot of new things here--opacity background and different shading. Simba's kinda bothers's me, but my sister said it was great--and showed more enthusiasm than usual, so I guess I'm happy! lol.. It was fun trying something new.

More insanity from the Hobbit-Lion. lol... Got this idea when my younger sibling was watching "Blue's Clues"... Zazu's Clues! lol...*begins to sing "Zazu's Clues" themesong* Simba, if you don't know already, is Steve. And he's singing "Zazu's Clues" inte the Thinking Chair with Zazu... Fun stuff... Oh--and there's the snail too. You can always find a TLK-maniac when they can turn out the weirdest ideas.. lol

*SPOILERS*
This is a scene from Bambi II. Ronno (Scar) Says he's seen Man in the Meadow using their sticks to call deer to them. "Come here, come here!" *shudders* Creepy. Anywho, Faline and Bambi, Thumper (the gopher) and Banga (Flower) are horrified. Ronno's such a show-off..

Hopefully there shall be more of this stuff to come!

------Banga is a zorille who is going to be Flower. He's the first zorille here, as far as I can see, and his name means "sword".

Hoping Tex doesn't mind, this is inspired a bit by her work and other's work. You see, I'm planning on doing scenes from Bambi and Bambi II as the Lion King characters. Here, Queen Uru has decided to call Mufasa "Bambi" and Taka "Ronno". They're born in a bit of a cave (the thicket) by a acicada tree...

For the "big family" contest... It's got Kovu, his mom, kiara, kopa, simba, nala, timon, etc so I guess this could count as big families in it! I've been working on this on and off for months now! Now before you all get upset, be aware that this is just supposed to be funny and not hurt anyone's feelings... I appreciate AotM and vote as well. It's just supposed to be funny if Kiara got AotM!

The only Star Wars movie i've ever seen was the original first one... however, with all this SWs stuff going about, I wanted to draw something to the hilarious lyrics to "The Saga Begins" by weird al. Got idea for pic by looking on google images where anakins sees his shadow... did this as a quickie because i'm feeling a tad depressed and wanted to just sketch.. scar's anakin if you haven'tGuessed

Simba's and Kopa's literal turning points! Ha ha! I like this one, though it's a sketch (i don't plan to finish it) Inspired by the Birdizer pics... What would happen if Zira and Scar had them? Uh oh! Zira's plotting like Izma in The Emperor's New Grove to turn Kopa into a flea so she can smash him! So that's where he went! Scar's turning the tide on Simba by turning him into a birdie...

My first contest up here! *meep!* This looks increadibly like Solar's submission, but I didn't copy it! In fact, I sketched this a few weeks before the current contest after seeing Fantasia's most popular pic...Then I wanted to draw Queen Uru with Taka too! A nice test for pushing my shading...Anywho, Uru is comforting Taka because he feels left out..Ahadi isn't including him.

AWEFUL sketch but I colored it with markers quickly to make the terrible sketch look better. It's Pumbaa chasing Timon. Couldn't resist drawing this though because I saw someone's shirt at school--the back said "The warthog chasing the butterfly..."

I really like this one! It's a younger Mufasa with Sarabi. Oh, and a hare. I <u>almost</u> copied the picture a book called from "Friends in Need", but not quite. Even Mufasa's position is a little different. Happy 10 years TLK!
