Her personality is at least partially inspired by Abby from NCIS.

I haven't been active here lately because I feel bad not drawing any actual Lion King fanart. Will that change in the future? Who knows?

I've been thinking about giving him insectlike antennae to make it clear that he's an alien and not just the usual brand of talking animal, but every time I try to draw it, it looks wrong. >< I also changed the white pattern on his muzzle after seeing that on a real cheetah -- not that he looks much like a real cheetah, but that little detail bugged me. XD

P.S. The other day I heard this song "I Love My Butter-Ball"; it's a statement against the "girl-must-be-thin-and-gorgeous-for-a-guy-to-notice-her" mentality... and ever since I have had this urge to draw obese characters. =P

2 breakthroughs! 1) Actual TLK fanart; 2) Actually inking sketches!

I just got 2 nice felt-tip pens; I can't believe I never used inks before, just colored my sketches and dealt with tedious erasings and smudged colors. >P It's so beautiful! Sketch, ink, erase, color, shade! And the lines don't smudge! *gets "n00b" stamped on my forehead*

Cookie if you know what he's holding. The whole jar if you can guess why. ;)

WIP. I hope to be more active in the art department soon.

I support characters with simple designs that are all personality; this guy has a future in a comic series. =D I'm getting tired of endless green-and-purple simba-clones that only appear once on a character sheet. What bugs me most is that my art was influenced by what was 'popular' for a while. >|

Anywho, Flexico was originally my cartoon alter-ego, but has recently morphed into a character of his own, the star of a comic series that's fighting its way out of my head.

I came to TLKFAA a lot later than I would have liked to. I missed a lot of great artists who left because of theft or whatever.
When I saw this "original classic" character up for adoption, I thought, "I've got to have him. This is my way of getting in touch with the younger days of the Archive."
I promise you'll see more of Infinity whether I'm chosen to adopt him or not.

UPDATE: I have not drawn him since. Something must be done. O_O
