Shaman

Because I had never drawn a picture featuring Rafiki, and because he's a great character.
I tried to feature him doing some shamantic ritual in his tree, at nigth, while the Great Kings of Past behold him.

I guess you all remmeber this scene from another movie right?

I think Simba has some similiarities with Bambi so why not putting him in that scene with the butterfly?
I hope you like it. This time a made the colouration more simple because I would like to make it look more cartoonish :) Keep it up you all

Sleeping Beautys

Here's something for the hyena fans because I like the hyenas too and because they also deserve their beauty sleep. I believe this would made a really great halloween picture, but, like always, I take too many time to finish a picture...oh well, at least I like the final look, I had a very fun time painting this and it came out better than I though, I specially like the background, I had the most fun with it.

The Last Glimpse

Cub Nuka seeing his father dying surrounded by hyenas and fire. I believe Nuka loved is father very much, even not being the chosen one, and I also believe Nuka saw his father dying. I guess words can't describe what he felt, but the image might help. Somehow he looks like Simba cring "NOOO" from the top of the cliff, funny.
Ah, the paw that is grabbing him is Zira's paw.

Queen in the Fog.

In my last pic with Mufasa and Sarabi,I recieved comments from people,specially from Tandi, saing that they really like Sarabi and that she's terribly underdrawn.I agree with them and since I love Sarabi a lot too I decided my next pic would featured Sarabi and here it is :)

My Muse

Last night I was doodling and this pic came out. I like it and decided to ink it just for fun.

The title "My Muse" came out when I was trying to name this picture on my computer and I decided to name it with the two first letters of their name "MuSa". "Musa" means "muse" in portuguese, and that explains the title.

Running away in the Elephant Graveyard

Funny piccie...
I was watching TLK and then I though of Simba and Nala doing those wierd faces while they were falling from the elephant skeleton when they were running away from the hyenas.

Rescuing Kiara

In TLK2, there's a scene when Kovu is rescuing Kiara but then they fall into the water and Kovu has to dive to save her. This piccie shows him saving her under the water, something we can't see that in the movie :P
