I imagine that whenever the old 'Who is Nala's father?' conversation comes up, Sarafina's got to be some embarassed. ;>

My lines are too thin. ..I did them at megahuge size, and then shrunk the whole thing. Not used to that process. >.>

King Ahadi is dead. Long live the king.

As the sun starts to rise on Mufasa's premature kingship he realizes, "I need you, brother. We will all need you."

Alone and so young, Mufasa wouldn't stand a chance of defending the pride against a rogue male. So he allows--begs Scar to stay, for the good of everyone.

Later on, when Scar attempts to wrangle equal kingship from Mufasa, Muffins lays the smack down and gives him the scar. S'more of a recent thing in this scenario.

Inspiration props go to 2SkyDragon, creator of this 'Earthlion' character, and "Raymond", the Venus Fly Trap that lives in my kitchen.

Origionally I was going to colour the whole thing, but I ended up liking the white and green together, not to mention the (attempted) realism of the vines/trap Vs. the flat lines of the lion.

2SkyDragon has this guy up on the TT as an adoptable.. still open, folks! :>

My most involved animation to date!

It walks like a horse instead of a cat, mostly because I'm not that good at borrowing (first person who can say where that comes from gets a picture!). ;>

Every different colour is a different frame, mostly to keep me half-sane during the creation process.

3-D Stuff

My sister found this little (2-3 inch long, inch and a half high, approx.) plastic lion in her house sometime last spring.
He was a little worse for wear (probably chewed on by more than one child/dog), so I did some exacto detailing to get rid of his pour-seams and repainted him to Camden's colours.
Photos are junk; the mane's really a dark purple, but it looks black there. ;p
Anyway, the figure's (C) to whoever in Hong Kong made it, I guess.

Acrylic paint on plastic figure, spray fixitive over all, with some clear nailpolish over the eyes to make 'em shiny.

This was supposed to be a group of four lionesses, singing a cub to sleep.. except that the fourth lioness and the cub ended up looking really junky, and I never went back to fix it..
So instead of letting the decent parts of it rot on my harddrive.. here it is. :>

This was -going- to be an icon for the TT, however I couldn't get the legs to look like I wanted them (they're very wrong, if y'didn't notice.. ;>), and so the lineart got tossed into my bits-bin.
I found it this afternoon and decided that it might look nice with Camden and NonameGirl in it, mirrored-like. Voila. :>

Concept for this image changed about twenty times while I was colouring it/making the background.. I'm pretty sure it ended up as 'Early Sunrise on Scar's Pridelands'. ;p

Since the operation left me not wanting to stay in one position for long, I didn't do much drawing while recovering. And now that the neighbor's died, I've just been sketching random things and not feeling like -finishing- anything.

For an anime contest.. Shampoo (purple hair), Ataru (brown hair) and Lum (green hair).

This started out as just Shampoo, but then Ataru showed up. And of course Lum followed -him-..
A classic scenerio ensued. XD
Anyway, it's not perfect, but I'm tired of looking at it. ;D

All characters are from their own respective shows (Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura) and are property of Rumiko Takahashi.
