Just a page from my sketch book that I decided to ink. And, while inking, I realize how badly I need a program that will allow me to ink digitally. I don't have that special concentration hand inking requires. But I suppose I'll get by.

As for the sketches...We've got Daxter...a random meerkat...and Tycho, from Penny Arcade! I love him so much it's not even funny.

I may color some of these later...I might not. If anyone else wants to take a crack at coloring one of them, I'd be honored!

Hehe, I was tired when I came home from school so I drew this. Nothing too detailed, just some harmless fun. You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard both of them refered to as "rat" or "mongoose".

And yeah, for those of you unfamilier with Jak and Daxter, Dax is a human (or an elf-thingy, if you want to be specific). ^_^

I watched Newsies for the first time last night. And right from the very beginning one character totally stuck out for me. I have an obsession with New Joisey/Yawk (spelling intentional) accents. And this kid...I mean WOW! I could listen to this kid all day. And then at the end, who do you think he was listed as? Max Casella!! I really wish I had seen the original LKoB. I mean, I knew he won an award for his role, but I never new he had such a fantastic voice! So here's Timon as Racetrack. ^_^

Alternatively titled: Why I never draw any TLK chacters besides Timon

Alright, I'm not going to go into to much depth because it's late and I'm tired. This started as a sketch of Zazu (who, if you take away his feet, I'm actually pleased with) and then I said to myself, "What the hell! You always say you suck at drawing lions! So get some reference and prove it!" So I did. I don't think I'll give up on lions just yet though. Maybe, with a lot of practice, I'll be able to draw them well.

I was a little sad yesterday. My birthday is on VDay and I was feeling bit forgotten. So, in my sadness, I drew my fursona looking down. I liked it so much I had to draw another meerkat and why not Timon? And while I'm at it, throw a dress on him! (I suppose this all makes sense when you think about it. I was watching The Birdcage at the time)

And, as I drew Timon I felt gradually less depressed. It's not that great a drawing and the coloring was purely an experiment but I like it.

I like this idea a lot. For those that have not seen the Producers, this is Timon dressed as Max Bialystock (played by the wonderful Nathan Lane) and singing one of my favorite Prod songs, "We Can Do It!". I love the fact that, because of the brash New Yorker voice Nathan's using with the character, he sounds just like Timon ^_^. I wanted someone to draw something like this so badly, I just wish I could have pulled it off. Oh talent! Where art thou? :(
