This is a prize character design for alexistiger. she won first place in my contest, and one of her prizes was a character design. The kind of design she wanted was...

Kinda complex, but fun to draw, darkish colors, with a couple unique colors, a unique quality, and the gender/species could be anything.

For DJ Coulz :)
He's supposed to kinda have the orca pattern..but it was kinda hard xD DJ, if you can make him look more like an orca, feel free to change the marking around a bit.
So he's part narwhal too with the horn. I like the horn a lot so I might make another waterlion with the horn, but still, this'll be the only whalewaterlion.

First WaterLion request. She wanted a green one :)
More about the species. There are differences between male and female, as well as traits the two genders share.
Share: blue/grey or green/grey bodies, blue hair, usually multiple shades. stripes on back and tail, and sometimes on the face. Tips of the fins on the tail fade in color.
Male: longer tails, fluffy cheeks, hair grows on neck.
Female: shorter tails, rounded cheeks, hair does not grow on neck.

Sometimes waterlions can have odd colorations to them. Males may have blacks and yellows, females may have blacks and pinks

Err.. It was supposed to be a character for BlueJay but.. I'm not sure if I'm satisfied. I ran out of time in the sketcher otherwise I woulda kept going to fix him. So unless BJ likes this a lot, then this is just the rough draft. I think he's a cougar.
The things I like and probably going to keep are his ears and tail. Everything else, I dunno. BJ what do you think? You can be completely honest what you like and don't. Since he will be your character, I want him to be how you would want him.

Character design for Linkin_Park fan. She wanted a gothic looking male character. So here's GothBoy (feel free to change his name, It's just what I've been calling him). I like him alot he's pretty cool. He has silver eyes, and several piercings on his left ear. On his tail, he tied those things onto some hairs. they hang freely. The cross on the choker and leg bracelet hang freely from a small loop. So if he were jumping through the ait, the cross would be flying in the same direction.
