Sorry I havn't been uploading as often as I usually do. I've been working almost non stop, 6 days a week, and since one of my co-workers quit, I've had to take most of her hours. Well I tried a few things different when I tried these Mufasa sketches. I tried a few of the things you all suggested, like bigger chin/nose. I realized the one on the left's eyes were too big. The picture I remember looking at of Mufasa: his eyes were small and calm. So I tried the one on the right with the smaller eyes, and it came out looking more like him. :) Thanks for those of you who helped.
Yes I know the one on the left looks more like Simba, shh.

Well I wanted to do canon, and I asked Tus what her fav canon char was, and she said Mufasa. I think he looks really bad/ugly/nasty/bleh I don't even wanna look at it lol. Buh alas, I tried.

Icon of Simba for Ice_lion's contest. Well it was supposed to be a "funny" icon, but maybe it can just be a cute icon instead xD I was trying to make it funny by having a larger crown over Simba's face, falling over his eye but I couldnt get it look right. Hope you like, ice_lion :)

Life's not fair, is it?
Teen Simba. Kassynaverdis had drawn some cute Simbas in the sketcher and I wanted to also. I used her colors (you can probably tell). I really like the colors she uses for tlk characters. They're not like the movie colors, and yet they're almost better. So I've learned that you don't have to be completely acurate to be really good. =)

Simba has perfected his begging to his mother. Now she can never say no to that face. x3
Most of us seem to need to upload more cannon art now-a-days. I tried the best TLK style I could muster...(no reference)Maybe I'm getting better at it? :D Now all of you go out and draw some cannon art too!

Some doodles. 1/4th off topic lol but hey it's mostly ontopic.
Vaporeon is my favorite pokemon.
Then there's Nala, who came out very light, Kiara and Kovu. I like the Nala and Kiara ones, they came out very accurate. No reference for any of them.

Well, people...did I fail completely? U.U I wanted to try a nice night background, so I (for the first time) used night colors and lots of shading...but I guess I made the bg colors too dark, which makes the figures look too bright. The only thing I like of this pic are their faces. The rest: garbage.

Heres Kiara and Kovu anthro but at the age where they meet eachother the second time. Older teen/almost adult. Heh Kovu's a hawtie. Next I'm doing Kivu and Ciara, then maybe the whole TLK4 gang :D (Jai, Tali, Mani, Tempest)

Kovu cub anthro. I gave Kovu a kind of dirty alley-way background since the slums are close enough to an equivilant to the outlands. I think he's so cute!

Here's what I think cub Kiara would look like as an anthro (inspired by Anguloke's anthro lions). This is just after she met Kovu and got taken home. Notice her background is all lush and beautiful (like a princess's home should be) compared to the next pic, Kovu cub anthro.
