A character that i adopted eons ago.... she was nameless when i got her so i came up with the name Barafumtindi (a couple of swahili words, one meaning ice and one meaning cream... im sure those combined don't mean anything like what i intended but i like the sound... i chose it cause she looks like a dreamcicle or however its spelled.)

Bara for short.

Gharetii is a Hogeni that i designed forever ago when Takara (Tak) was in Wyoming and we were at lunch <3

My concept for him was that he was going to be a god of sorts... a fictious character that was in many of their legends and stuff... but i dunno... i will probably just make him a regular forest or mountain hogeni.

anyhoo, the coloring is VERY rushed. i didnt feel like coloring... and yet wanted to practice with PSP7 badly... so... yeah- i experimented a bit so it might look a little funny

I'm sorry for the roughness. The sketch just wasnt good enough to warrant doing an all out digitally colored work... so i just slapped her colors on there.

back in 2004 i came up with this design and two others... for a contest i think... but i liked their designs too much so i kept them... i never ended up coloring them or uploading them, until i came acrossed the sketches earlier.

so i decided to redraw them, and come up with colors for them. They are sisters, Solar, Lunar, and Celestial.

This is Solar... she has both warm and cold tones, in contrast to her sisters... Lunar with only cold colors, and Celestial with only warm colors.

(thier sketches turned out better so they will probably be colored nicely)

I created this lady quite a while ago on sketcher.... but she was originally designed in an awful pink. hahaha... ok... the pink wasnt that bad.... just not my favorite for a lion XD

so.... i revamped her... in my tride and true favorite color scheme for a lion. GREY! <3

:P So yeah... this is what Pirate looks like now!

I have about a million sketches that i need to color.... but opening up paint shop just seemed so daunting, so i started doodling in windows paint (while listening to Jack Johnson's version of 'Imagine') and it turned into this.

Abyssal deserves to be drawn much more than i have drawn her. I will definately try to amend that.

Colored an old sketch i liked... depicting Yoshir in a way that i generally dont show him.

Sinaz grows up detesting his father and thinking his father detests him... little does he know that Yoshir gained many of the battle scars that cover his body while he was protecting his young son from a tribe of panthers. The mighty king nearly died to save the cub.

Sadly the incident is also why Yoshir is so aloof with his oldest child. He can never forgive Sinaz for making him feal such -fear- (though, obviously it wasnt really his fault)... a feeling that is foreign to him and disasterously unwelcome.

Theo. :) I drew this based off of the first picture i ever drew of him...apperantly i was copying the bad anatomy as well XD

He is one of my oldest original lion characters and i love him... hes actually the first that i started developing a background story for... and i think that once i have written Konga and Daanzi's stories he _might_ be the next one that i work on

and yes, as always, the blue markings are not natural... they are the blue mud that is worn by many of my other characters...though im sure if there were such a thing as blue mud it wouldnt be QUITE that vivid.

I was going to add a background to this, but then insperation hit me for another pic with this character and Abyssal (my other fae created for me by the amazing hibbary) I was a little off on the design... hopefully practice will make perfect and i will be able to get it right eventually XD

Stormsight and Shiba as cubs.

They are the twin heirs to leadership in the Jokulee pride (son of Stormwise)... well Shiba is more an "honorary" heir and Stormsight the actual. Anyways, the Jokulee pride uses the same blue mud as Daanzi but they use it for Tribal markings. These particular markings are the sign of blood "royalty"

Jeremiah the saber. Its been years and years since i last drew him. He looks miffed. I'm sure his coloring is a little off, i drew him in sketcher without a reference. I know hes fairly close though. <3

I got this beautiful Rock Tiganess from TUS a long time ago in a character trade...

i updated her a little... just to make her the body type that Tus has them now...(hopefully XD)

I couldnt find her ref pic for forever...until i searched her dA gallery. YAY, i love this lady so much!

I named her Shale (i still need to redraw my Storm Tigan, Taar)

I didnt used to like this pic (never thought i did the character justice and disliked the bg), but i gotta say it grew on me over time.

I always have loved the character of course... its one of the most amazing creations i have ever seen... and was designed for me by my hibbary-luff. I will never be able to express my thanks enough to that fricken amazing artistlady!

Sinaz is Konga's jealous older brother... he hates him because of the love and attention his father devotes on Konga and no other.

Here he sits high on a protective perch and mocks and teases Konga as a cub.

Stormsight is one of my oldest and most beloved characters. He is the son of Stormwise and heir to rule the Jokulee Pride.. the markings are tribal markings made with the same blue mud that Daanzi uses to disguise her identity.

Anyway, Stormsight is a restless spirit... here he is taking refuge by himself away from the ever watchful eyes of his father that force him to tread and act carefully.

Tufani is the "narator" of my stories. (unyet written). She is Daanzi's daughter who never quite knew her mother, but always wanted to know more... So she travels and gathers tid-bits of information concerning... mostly Daanzi, but also one of Daanzi's favourite legends- Konga.

here she's is reflecting on things she's just barely learned about her mother.. things she never dreamt where possible

This guy is one of my species i came up with when i first joined the archive... they are called rolia-lions.. and are super unoriginal... lame i know. They are twice the size of normal lions (well the males are, the females arent nearly as big), almost always have one paw thats colored differently than the others, and have mowhawk mains.

Hes one of my oldest and dearest characters, the tempermental Zeeka
