I don't like the background... but I do like Sarabi. She turned out good.

I think Sarabi's a little young, so its probably before Simba lol... Yeah... a teen Sarabi, wandering. No doubt her favorite thing to do.

haha the females of TLK don't look very happy as males lol. i know the colors are off. their really dark to be more male-ish. first row from left~ Vitani, Kiara, Sarabi. Second row from left~ Nala, Sarafina, Zira. oh and the lineart isn't the same for all of them. it was more tablet practice.

It doesn't have to do with the story, but its for the contest. If you can't tell, Mufasa's hiding in the grass watching Taka and Sarafina. Now, i'm not one to believe that Nala is Taka's daughter. BTW i absolutely LOVE how Mufasa's eye turned out. In fact i love everything in this picture except how i drew Sarafina...

well It all started with that Shenzi pup sketch (practicing hyenas)and then a sketch of an eye. well i liked it so i drew the rest of simba anmd shadedit in. then i played with hue/saturation.

Recognize this?? is my redo of that pic i uploaded last year. I used some ref for the mane (aka the DVD and the other version). My dad thinks it looks improved. What do you think? Ok i hope this is better my logo is lighter. I was in a bit of a rush earlier!

I'm glad i couldn't find my story book because then i would have been copying!! i tried to remember this because its the part where timon, pumbaa and simba are lying in the grass together. I only did half i simba's face because i suck at symmetry (thx Quill)
