This is Ulmo, the "god" of the oceans and waters of Arda. It's from the Silmarillion...I really wanted to draw this guy. And yes I know it doesn't look like water, but I spent a long time on it so blah!

sposed to be aragorn (more from the books than the movie - wise, kingly, "older than he looks"). didn't turn out right though. the first one was better. comp deleted it. so yeah. he looks too much like kovu in my opinion.

Another Return of the King scene, this time of Merry and Pippin. Before this scene, Merry utters the most depressing lines in the whole book. "Are you going to bury me?" This is when Pippin finds him in Minas Tirith.

Sposed to be Faramir (my fave LotR char) and his father, and if you've read the books you'll know how Faramir feels. Heartbroken - one of my favorite scenes, because it conveys such emotion. I just wanna punch Denethor. (Return of the King chpt 4)

The hobbits? Hehe...the four hobbits as lions. Hopefully you can tell who's who... (Frodo, Samwise, Merry, and Pippin). I tried to make Merry and Pippin look bigger, if you'd read the Two Towers you'll know why

Ok, didn't turn out quite like I wanted, but I guess this pic is OK....the finished version of the Frodo sketch, of Frodo sleeping peacefullly in soft dead fern in Ithilien...from the Two Towers.

Just a quick little sketch I kinda liked. This is a scene from the Two Towers, of Shadowfax, Arod, and Hasufel a the eaves of Fangorn Forest (they're on a slope right before they hit the trees) where they meet their riders.

Carcharoth vs. Huan the Hound. My fellow Tolkien fans will know this is from the Silmarillion. Huan's one of my favorite characters - he's the Wolfhound. That thing int he middle is the Silmaril.

By far one of the saddest scenes of Lord of the Rings, immediately following one of the best and most exciting scenes...read Two Towers, the last couple of chapters. This is Sam and Frodo, lionized. Background sucks. Sorry.
