And an icon of Razzle... for myself =P Figured it was time I changed the one I've had over on DeviantArt and various other places. I like it, though the writing didn't come out that great and I think the black of her mouth bled a little, oh well. Learning!

Started out so wonderful when I got this amazing gift from Weaver piccomments.cgi?Weaver+GiftArtAzeraneFIN.jpg ...and then I got some really bad news, hopefully I can sort it out, but I don't know if I'll be able to and it's put a hole in every plan I had for the next year.

Stumbled across that song the other day, this image isn't a reflection of the subject of the song... but I fell in love with the lyrics quoted, which both made me hope so badly that he was missing me and reminded me of the poem 'Rainbow Bridge'. since then I haven't been able to stop listening to the song or sketching rabbits. So here at last, is a more intimate tribute to my rabbit, Hazel-rah. May you be at peace. 26-09-2008.

I really -love- how Kintaru turned out here, his pose and everything just worked. Razzle I don't like as much, but I'm still proud of it, hoping to colour it at some point. =)

Well... I've been here so long, I sure would have hoped I've improved! XD

Thankfully Kovu seems to approve of my improvement though... and that's all that matters =P

Haven't drawn Razzle yet this year, which is why Kovu is there in her place =)

And yes, I've been here since the end of 2002, long time.

The Simple Pleasures =)

I have a book of African wildlife photography, and there's one close-up photo of a jackal's face as he's smelling a flower with his eyes closed. The expression on the jackal's face makes it look like the smell is just heaven. So this is inspired by that.

Jake is smelling my favourite flower, the daffodil. =)

Been a while since I coloured anything like this with pencil. It's alright, I'm a bit out of practice. I'm dissapointed that the scanner didn't quite pick up on the shading on Kintaru because I was really pleased with it. Oh well. Hope you all like it.

Just to show that I do draw my new characters more than once XD Hehe, this is actually about the 4th reworking of this pic over the course of about 2 weeks, never looking at any of the other versions. So I managed to end up with something I liked.

Wish his base fur colour showed up a bit better, I did colour it and it's not just white. At least the shading showed up =)

Oh yeah, it's Kadmus ^^ And I gave his ears a fleck of colour, a stripe around the edge. Shame on me for colouring his eyes wrong...

I love a good book =)
Tried out a very simply but new shading technique which I've only tried once before. Also, the feet are a little large, but other than that, I like it =) I would really appreciate some constructive crit. on this.

Coloured the piccy of running Kintaru, should've coloured it in colour pencil but I was on the comp and had a sudden urge to colour something with my tablet. So here you have it, it came out pretty good I think.

This is a bit of an oldy. I drew and coloured in in early November last year. It's my Crowned Crane character that I came up with last year, Christopher. His design is fairly simple, swirly thing on wing andlittle green things on the top of his 'crown' hehe. Anyway, enjoy the short legs that this picture presents him with =P
