Edit: Ok, so after all that, it would seem that it was the compression of uploading it to the archive that made it blotchy. If you go over to deviantart and view it Spyro-Tojo-Cosplay-138125590 it looks how it's supposed to! Thank you everyone for your help.

Adolescent Nala participates in a hunt. Sarabi and Sarafina are in there as well. The other two are randoms. I spent so long on this, I'm glad it's finally done. It's the most animals I've ever done in the same picture!

Markers and colour pencil. I'm getting better at photographing my pictures now xD

Also, do you think the prey animals of the pridelands ever consider it a moral dilemma when the King or Queen of the pridelands is hunting them. They should do as the King or Queen says, but they would want to live =P

Little Simba, done on sketcher. Considered adding a background, but it was getting late. I also did a really cool Mufasa, but I didn't get to finish him before reset, so hopefully I can upload that tomorrow.

"Now that Kiara was older, Nala could finally find time for herself, time off from her duties, time alone. It gave her a chance to wander further away from Pride Rock and simply relax as she had not done for years. Scar's reign had impacted greatly on all of the pride and she especially, had been forced to grow up too soon in order to help meet the needs of her pride, and the hyenas. Now however, the Pridelands were brimming with renewed life and it gave her the chance to break free from her worries, and simply breathe."

You might recognise this... TLKSketcherDump.jpg My hand is dead, but I feel so much better for it. I find it so therapeutic colouring with pencils and I always love seeing the picture progress. I'm really proud of this one. =) Hope you guys like it.
Also, I've decided to open up commissions again if anyone's interested.

Another Kovu, another pic done in sketcher. It's boring and blah... it's been so long since I've done any TLK style drawing... I'm really out of practice. I just don't have the time for finished art anymore.. all I do is quick sketches of things. I hope to be more active again in the future, I miss this place.

Also, news. I'm leaving to see Pat again on the 12th July, it will be after a 12 month separation, so I'm excited. I also get to meet up with the amazing Sharifu Sharifu so I'm really looking forward to my trip! =D

Canon, yay! I've been wanting to finish this for a while now, sketched it in November I think and coloured Nala and the foreground grass in december, and only just got a chance to finish it up today. Figured I'd take a break from commissions for the night and do some canon. I've been neglecting it lately. I'm quite pleased with how it came out actually =) Hope you guys like.

Sketcher Collab with some awesome Aussies, Ignite (Red-back spider), Sutsiko (Simba Emu), Booyeh (ink and colour Koala Vitani) and me! =D I did Zazu as Kookaburra and the Wombat Pumbaa, as well as sketching Vitani. Twas much fun!! Unfortunately kahllynn, whose idea it was, had to leave before we began.

Not happy with the pic, I -love- how Tojo turned out, but there is so much red in that sky! It turned out terrible. My grass also fails at being grass. Oh well. I tried.

Vitani is so much fun to draw, she has so much character and strength, not just physically but to me she is a very bold, smart, and headstrong character.

The image originally wasn't meant to take me so long. I was inspired by works by Weaver and a couple other artists who have heavy shadows in their art that brings strong dark moods to their images. It ended up taking me forever as I went about it the completely wrong way, but I'm still proud of the result. I had a lot of fun with this and really hope you guys like the result.

5-6 hours in photoshop, and I am finally happy with the result.

The Scanner made it die... there is sky behind them, trust me ;) And I swear the colouring looks smoother in real life, but maybe I'm just outta practice.

"Mufasa staggered back in shock, his right paw warm and damp with the blood that had been spilled when he struck his brother across the eye. Now as Taka recovered from the blow, he glared up at Mufasa with jealousy and hatred as the warmth of his own blood spread across his face.
'Mark my words, you may be my brother but you shall pay, King!' He spat out the last word with venom before turning his back on Mufasa and leaving the cave, echoing his final words.
'Oh yes, you shall pay.'"

I've had this one inked and Simba's fur coloured for a while, finally finished it tonight. =)

Just looking at this makes me realise that I need to be much more confident with my backgrounds, it took me forever to colour the sky so that the scanner would actually pick it up, and it's still too light. I just get scared of ruining the picture.

For the competition. I sketched this over a month ago now, and thought that colouring it for the competition was a good idea since it fits nicely =) I always thought that Nuka and Vitani would get along well when Kovu wasn't around. Like how you see them singing together in 'My Lullaby' I'm sure that as siblings they had some sweet moments as well.
