*LOL* While I like to do my backgrounds straight into my computer, I haven't had much practise at drawing the characters as I normally do them on paper. So I was doodling and Zazu happened XD

*L* Meerkats look out for danger when others are sleeping and it helps if they're handy to stand on for a better view.

I've been enjoying watching Meerkat Manor on BBC2, anyone else watching it?

It's suppose to be Sarabi and Sarafina but Sarafina looks wrong, guess I need to practice drawing her!

I have a chest infection do not up to sitting at the computer and colouring this. If anyone wants to colour this, email me for a copy of the full size, better quality version of the line art.

Its fine to post your coloured version of this on other sites, just don't re-post the original lineart, thanks :)

Part of the reason I've not been doing much art over the last month is that i've had a real on for Final Fantasy 7 fanfic. So I just had to draw a Vincent lion _^
Based of the Advent children version becuase DoC pal isn't out till next month though I wouldn't mind doing a DoC Chaos lion..if I can be bothered XD

I absolutely love Sarabi, I don't know how they did it but they got a lioness to look like a wonderful african woman.

If anyone wants a large bitmap version to print/colour then drop me an email and i'll send you a copy. If you're going to upload the final image then please just do a little credit to me for the lineart ^^

my entry for the 'masters' tlk contest.

I studied abstract expressionism when at art school and my fave art from that has to be Rothko. However I also loved Mondrian's work where he presented art in its purest form, the line, the primarys colours and black and white.

Here i've subsituted the primary colours with the coat colours of the primary characters, Mufasa, Scar and Simba ^^

this is one of the reasons i havent been around or uploading much. im doing a set of big cat/ wildlife picture to sell as prints.
