. They walked for what seemed like hours then they passed from their land to another it had the long grass but it wasn’t as well kept and there were no flowers except for the weed that strangled the long dead tree. Kovus` heart beat faster and faster, it sent chills up his spine, this barren landscape reminded him of his home, The Outlands. They walked past a huge row of rocks that looked like giant teeth sticking out of the ground. Kiara was scared, she’d never been anywhere like this before.

He looked around at his new home and thought how wonderful it looked, much better than that termite infested dust hole he used to call his home. It had long lush grass, wild flowers that sparkled with last night’s rain. He stood up to get a better view of the paradise; there was even a beautiful water hole with plenty of herds around, he was in heaven!...part of my fanfic
