I had some serious moral issues while making this animation. I love ZBS, so making an animation using their material is probably not the best idea, but ZBS <i>is</i> woefully underrated, so I can only hope that by making this, I can do a bit of free advertising for them, hence the shameless pluggery in the final frame. It’s for a good cause.

Anyway, it’s Nani, with the best voice I could find for her, plus a random shaman/advisor bird that I whipped up without much planning.

Um…Kiara is happy.

*I first heard this song (yes, this is the entire song, all 27 seconds of it) on the Dr. Demento Show, and I just recently came up with this animation idea that wouldn’t go away. I’m don’t think I’m going to complete this, since this alone took me two days and it’s getting harder and harder for me to finish large projects.

Don't be shy, take a look around! Be careful around Yamin, though. He's pretty skittish around lions.

(I came up with the idea for the Play Again button at the last moment, and I was simply spazzing over how perfect the idea was. It's a geek thing.)

Yet another Flash animation. Unlike my others, this one is very rough, and it’ll stay that way. Sorry.

A while ago, I realized that the protagonist of one of my favorite obsolete games had the same voice actor that provided Simba’s singing voice in SP, and I was determined to create a loose crossover. Most of these voices are from a series of hilarious “outtakes” at the end of the game.

(Yep, this is the big one...)

History does tend to repeat itself in the TLK saga, doesn't it? Here, Tanabi meets a certain reptile, but takes a different approach than his father did. (voice by William Hall, as usual)

This animation took me nearly a month to make. Twenty-something days to make less than a 1/2-minute of animation. "What you put into your kettle comes out into your spoon."

A sneak peak of my next animation (which won’t be finished for a while, so be patient) – pretty rough, but you can get a sense of the Tanabi’s movements (which have been slightly slowed down in this GIF). The frog, incidentally, isn’t in the final animation, but I had to put something different there for Tanabi to look at.

Another animation with sound. I had a pretty hard time trying to sync the sounds with the events in Flash.

Tanabi and Vitani sharing a peaceful night under the stars. Just another crazy idea that revolved around linking one of William Hall’s lines with an appropriate (yet fitting) event.

Note: This movie is larger than its original size, and it plays better if it is resized to about 75%.

Edit: That sound near the end is a record being scratched, capishe?

My first music video, starring Monah, as she recalls the close friendship she had with Zira before it came to a painful end.

Music: Excerpt from "Toy Soldiers", by Martika, one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. The lyrics seem to fit Monah's emotions.

Thank goodness I was able to shrink this down to a reasonable size!

Yep, it's another animation with sound that I spent way too much time on!

Kiara and Tanabi having one of their typical cubhood spats...

The exchange is a little awkward, and I added subtitles for people who can't make out what's being said. Tanabi's "turn" was so difficult that I had to put his foreparts, his hind feet and his tail on seperate layers to make things easier!

Tanabi speaks!

I had a flash of inspiration listening to some of William Hall's lines from Space Quest 6, and this is the end result. (better version at DeviantArt.)

*that last line is actually Dominic Armato (aka Guybrush Threepwood), not Mr. Hall. Just goes to show how similar those two are...

Lupe, one of the characters in the LucasArts adventure game Grim Fandango, has a voice that I thought fit Amita PERFECTLY - so I attempted an animation of 'Mita speaking with this voice.
