Set after Kopa's disappearance. In my story, there's a bit more to this event than you may think ;)

Kopa saw the adults arguing in the cave, and ran inside. He came right up to Ni's and held his legs tight, crying.
"No!" the cub sobbed. "Please don't hurt my daddy!"
All three adults gave each other looks. As far as they knew, nobody had told Kopa the truth...

Yeah, considering that Kopa looks much more like Simba in this pic, it's a stretch. But that's how the story goes ;)

Ni had always wanted cubs of his own, and it great joy to watch Vitani with Kopa, his little girl meeting the heir of her 'enemy'. He only wish they could know the truth...
