A scene from my story, which appears in a memory of Scar's. Since Ahadi wanted little to do with his younger son, Mufasa made it his responsibility to teach young Taka about the kings of the past.

Taka: Tell me. Why did Dad think ‘dirt’ was such a good name for me? Why does he always pretend that I don’t exist? If he’s such a great father, then why does he treat me like an Outsider?"

Mufasa was stunned at what his brother had just said. He had asked questions that he simply couldn’t answer.

This is from the first chapter of my Fanfic, Taka's Story. Ahadi is sitting on Pride Rock (which isn't too good) on a cloudy winter's night. His wife Uru is pregnant once again, and she might not survive. The bright star shining is, in Lion King canon, his father Mohatu.
