finally! a ref for my alternate fursona. i will de a pic with the difference (in personality) between him (yes, me 2nd fursona is a he lol) and acidmouth. this guy is special to me, so here is his long awaited and well deserved reference sheet!

Changes:
No longer female
Changed positions of shoulder and butt fishes
changed mouth color
now has claw colors
less lanky
tail is less fluffy
ears are less fluffy

Frozen Yogert wanted a female with tons of colors, and for me to go crazy with the design. LOL!

i may have taken her too seriously. i made a simple design for the lineart. a regular, generic leopard lookin thing. and then i just started coloring, getting carried away on purpose. her name is splash for obvious reasons. her coat reminds me of sealskin with rainbows instead of tans, blacks and grays.

i went crazy with the design, i put tons of colors in it, here is splash! my half of a trade for Frozen_Yogurt!

This year (the 8th of October to be exact) is Alaska's 50th anniversary of statehood! And I must say that I am insanely proud to be an Alaskan!

We have this: 3 million lakes, 1,400 miles North to South, 2,700 miles East to West, 586,400 Square Miles, 33,000 miles of coastline, Mount Denali: 20,320 feet (Tallest in North America), We are 2 times the size of Texas! North to the Future, The Last Frontier!

Nearly one-third of Alaska lies within the Arctic Circle. Most of America's salmon, crab, halibut, and herring come from Alaska. The northernmost town in the united states, Barrow has no sunset for about 84 days [May-August] as the sun circles above the horizon.

if the cold ground he walked across wasn't bad enough, the scent of blood, sulfur and rot made him sick to the very core of him. how could any creatures live in such a place?

suddenly a sharp voice rang out "Why have you come here? lions have no place in these lands! have you come to yet again steal our kills and murder our brethren as you lions always have?"

scar could not see the figures, but knew it had to be the hyenas his father and brother chased off before, it was they who gave his father the wound on his leg. it was these hyenas he wanted as allies. their thirst for blood was perfect for his intentions.

my blue wind rider! just got this fella about a week ago.

cookies to anyone who knows what game he's from. he/she? do male and female wind riders have manes? if not, that's a lot of male wind riders. lol.

please let me know if you think they're off-topic. they -are- for the most part a big-cat like species what with the cat's body and a lion's mane along with leopard spots. but they've also got some dragon-like features. the wind rider was based on a wyvren, which is a dragon/lion type animal with more lion features than dragon :P what do YOU think?

some hyena! practice, practice! i haven't drawn any Disney style hyenas, i don't think.

we must keep in mind that they are not canines and should not be drawn like them :\ it's hard, even for me because the only hyena-like thing i've drawn has been of the canine species, hyaenidae are their own thing, and more closely related to mongooses and meerkats than they are to dogs & wolves.

BTW!! as you may have already noticed, i am back in gear after a long pause. i've started drawing again! YAAY! im going to try to do more canon, more shading and backgrounds on my art. i am sick of seeing my work as flat colors on a white background. makes meh sad.
